CLIENT: Digital Ape / Visit Britain
THE CHALLENGE: To showcase Manchester & The Lake District as amazing tourist attractions to potential middle Eastern visitors. We were to follow the journey of a Saudi Arabian social media influencer from Manchester to the Lakes, taking in the sites and shopping on offer.
HOW WE DID IT: We followed the influencer for four days with a handheld gimbal, and hand to pack light as we were constantly on the move. We had to be ready to capture footage quickly, jumping out of taxis with only a few seconds to prepare and constantly thinking ahead when planning shots. THE RESULTS: We got some lovely footage, the 50fps / slowmotion shots were great to film. It was also brilliant to see the City we grew up in through the eyes of a tourist, and explore things that we normally take for granted in a different light.. There were many highlights on this shoot, but having the freedom to roam and film wherever we wanted in Harvey Nichols was ace!
