Content Development Manager.

We are pleased to announce that we are now searching for a ‘Content Development Manager’ to join us here at Feral Films.

About Us:

We are a Content Production Company based near Stockport in South Manchester, and we are now actively looking to further promote our services within the UK. We have a great client list, which we are hoping to grow over the coming months with your help. We are a very productive company, and we are regularly out capturing content for many different types of companies in all sorts of industries.

The Role:

This role is primarily a target driven new business development / sales position, with regular project management and client liaison involvement. We are looking for someone to help raise awareness of our company, and then develop and nurture new clients. Our approach is often targeted marketing, through sharing past work examples – we are also regularly involved in pitching. We are open to hybrid working for this role, however we are asking for applicants to only apply if they live locally to Greater Manchester. There will the opportunity to travel to shoots all over the UK too, to oversee your productions with the crew as the client’s point of contact. You will be responsible for creating cost estimates, and will be involved in scheduling with the production team.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will need to be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written – with an eye for detail. We need someone with the confidence, knowledge and ability to be able to present face to face and online, sometimes to a large group. The ability to think creatively with regards to approaching clients is a must, as is bringing ideas with you through experience.

A good understanding of how video content is best used through social media, and the production processes (from concept to delivery) is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone with 4+ years experience of working in sales / account management within the creative industries (even better if in production) in a similar role. You will have a proven track record of hitting targets in a similar role. We will train you on our ethos and approach, but we are open to ideas.

A driving licence and car are required, as our clients / shoots are often far from public transport.

You must be tech-savvy, and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word / Pages, Excel / Numbers, all social media platforms and production management software.

  • Basic (£Depending on experience) + monthly target related bonuses
  • 28 Days Holiday (Inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Company laptop and phone
  • Mileage and expenses are paid whilst on client visits / location shoots
  • Business car insurance is covered
  • Working hours are 9 – 5pm, but they can be flexible
  • This is a permanent position
